Okay... this is actually a redo of an existing kit. The only things that survived the original are the little labels because I really liked them :) If you liked the original kit, you'll love the new one. I've included some torn and stitched cardboard elements and tons of stuff to play with PLUS I've included 2 new colors in the mix!
Check it out here!
Be on the lookout tomorrow for a little something special!

Sunday, February 25, 2007
They're everywhere and now they're on scrapbook pages too!
They're everywhere! You can't pick up a book, a gift card, or even a new lipstick without finding one, and now they can be on your scrapbook pages too!
What are they? Barcodes of course! This set of barcode alphabets includes upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. Also included are labels to put your barcodes on and some premade barcode phrases. I've also included some suggested uses and easy to follow instructions for making your own phrases. You can even make labels out of background paper that you already own to make your own custom labels!
View the full details.
Here's a sample for you to try out for FREE!
If you like the layout, it's my newly revamped kit Design Remix: 100 Percent Boy, and it's available in the SOTB Store!

New Release - Ivy League
Once again inspiration came from the oddest source. I was looking at a stack of polo shirts at my local super store, and I fell in love with the blend of teal, brown, coral, green and off-white, spilling off the shelves (no, they don't fix the clothing stacks very often).
Included in this kit are 5 textured solid backgrounds, 7 patterned backgrounds, 8 ribbons, 5 mini jewelry tags, 3 gel clips, 5 gel buckles, 3 textured paper flowers, 1 row of zig-zag stitching, and a complete gel alphabet that includes both upper and lower case letters, numbers, and some of the most popular symbols.
Clips and buckles are included with the centers removed for Foto Fusion users and others with similar programs.
This is a March 2007 Kit Club selection. If you haven't joined yet, what are YOU waiting for?

Dumb Moments Scrap Challenge
What was your dimmest moment???
With all the talk lately on the Designer email list about “dumb blondes” and blonde moments, I just have to ask…what’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever done or said… or just that moment in time that made you realize you might not be the brightest bulb in the pack?
Scrap about it and post your layout in the SOTB gallery.
Be sure to post a link to your layout in the SOTB forum! Post a layout and your link by Friday March, 23rd and I'll send you a gift!

Freebie Deadline Update
Due to the overwhelming response to my shameless begging for comments, I will no longer be giving out the freebie for comments left after midnight Central Time on Monday, February 12th. I'm a little worried about what I'm doing to my husband's bandwidth.
For those of you who get the freebie, I'd love to see your layouts! Feel free to post a comment with the link to your layout. You never know, I may be so overwhelmed that I'll be prompted to give away something else!

You like me. You really, really like me.
Yes, that's a take off on the quote "They like me. They really, really like me." I know that I've heard that somewhere, but can't quite figure out where. The closest attributable source that I can find is Sally Field, in what seems to be her Oscar acceptance speech for her 2nd Oscar. Not sure if that's why it stuck in my head or not...
If you left me a comment, and you didn't get an e-mail with the freebie link within a day or so... it means that I've had so much love that I accidently missed you or the email address that I had bounced. Don't want to leave your e-mail addy in the comments? I don't blame you! Send it to me at katiemanndesigns-at-gmail-dot-com
I've had tons of compliments on the look of my blog so far. If you really, really like it... it's one of my kits! You can purchase Well Worn here OR you can join my 2007 kit club and get the kit as one of your February selections!
I did have it confirmed that it was Sally Field's speech as she accepted her second Oscar. Apparently she considered the first one a fluke, and was just overwhelmed when she received her second one!
Love me, love me not...
Leave me a comment (with your e-mail address) about my site... love it, hate it, or you don't really know, and I'll send you this kit absolutely free!
Don't miss out on this... the last day to get the free kit for leaving a comment is Monday, February 12th!

Decorator Series - Dramatic
Check it out!
I’m frequently inspired by rooms in decorating magazines, by shows on HGTV, and even by the towels at Walmart! This kit definitely lives up to it’s Dramatic name with it’s bold colors of black, red, white, gray, and gold and the strong graphic style of the backgrounds and elements! If you’re a member of the 2007 Katie Mann Kit Club, this is one of your selections for March. If you’re not a member, here’s one more reason to join today!
Watch for more kits in this series that will be coming soon!
